Helloooooo, dA! It has been a *really* long time since I last logged in. For those of you who have been wondering where I've been, here is a lil update...

-I am now a senior in college, set to graduate early May of this year. Yay! I an an IT major (Information Technology), with a concentration in software development. I love me some programming, especially in Python. :3

-Since landing my technology internship at St. John's (see the journal entry titled "Tech Interns Rock!") I am happy to say that I am still working at the same location and all is well. I love teaching kids about technology and fixing computers and maintaining the school's network and all that fun stuff.

-I still draw, both digitally and traditionally. My style has changed a bit since I've been gone, and I've been experimenting w/ some more realistic-looking stuff. I'm not sure if I'll upload anything, though. We'll see. :

-I still love anime, manga, video games, sushi, dragons, Macs, music, Photoshop, and Flash. I love more stuff, too. It's just late/early and I can't remember everything right now. >.<

-My older sister is pregnant and is due in early February. I'mma be an aunt soon!

(I really wanted to put the happy-dancing-fists-in-a-circle emoticon there, but I forgot the name for it. )

I'm not sure if I'm ready to jump back in to dA or not. When I first disappeared, dA was already starting to get a lil confusing. Now... I just hit a button and all this random, confusing stuff popped up. x.x Perhaps I'll take my time in exploring things..

But anyway, I really just wanted to let you guys know that I'm alive, and still doing well. I hope you guys are doing well, too. Mebbee I'll hear from some of you soon. Byes!

EDIT: Ah, I can't believe I almost forgot! Thank you all SO MUCH for all of the comments and faves! I went through and read them all, thanks to the cool (new?) message interface. It would be kinda weird to go back and reply to them all, so I just wanted to say a big Thank You!!! here. ^_^

Okay, so I haven't been gone as long as I've thought. But I'm still here! Hooray! I've still been drawing (some) since I last posted art up here. I need to upload it all soon. And since I have money now, I think I'll buy myself a year-long subscription again. I've got 2,893 devs to see and I want to look at them all! And comment, too! And all that's easier to do when everything's sorted by username. I've still got some stuff from 2005 to look through. So I do want to apologize to all my friends and the all awesome artists here that I stalk, because I haven't really commented on anybody's work for.... um... a very long time. I miss the community feeling here and I really want to get back into that.

Okis. In other news, I'm still attending school (got Bs at midterms) and I'm still working at McDonald's. But! I have an interview for a tech intern position tomorrow afternoon at 1pm at my old church! Hooray! ^_^ Everyone wish me luck! If I'm hired, they pay for my schooling. ^_^ And I don't have to work at McDonald's anymore! (big cheer for that) Well, maybe I'll work on the weekends, but I don't want to get ahead of myself here. I'm determined not to get my hopes up too high and assume things. Usually when I start assuming and expecting things, things don't usually turn in my favor. I've just gotta do the best I can, and see what happens.

Doot de doo.... Oh! And my friends and I have been going out for sushi every week. We're going tomorrow evening. ^_^ We usually get rainbow rolls and and rice (though I get the miso soup instead of the rice). Last time I had baby octopus instead of the soup and it was so good! They look just like they do in the animes, and they tasted like barbequed chicken. haha... Perhaps I'll get it again.

Ah, man, I am so pooped. x_x After searching and searching for a job, nobody hired me, so I was forced to go back to McDonald's. T_T It's so weird to see so many new faces. Well, It has been five months... But at least there are still a few familiar faces. I worked window all night, so pretty much all I ever said was:

"Hi! How are you?"
"Fine, thanks."/"Good!"
"Did you need nugget sauce?"
"And here ya go! You have a nice night!"

gaaaaa..... I worked from 5 to 11 tonight and I got my break at 9:30. You wouldn't believe how much standing in place really hurts your knees and back. I think it may be my shoes, so mebbee I'll buy some more comfortable ones next weeek. I've gotta go in tomorrow from 11 to 7. I wonder which position I'll get that time. *heh*

On another note, I have recently finished viewing two very popular animes, Fullmetal Alchemist and Trigun. I wanted to see FMA because so many people are in love with the show and Ed and General-man and Hughes and whatever. So I went to YouTube and saw the whole series over the course of a few weeks. Oh God. I wish I had never wasted my time. I know I might make some people mad here, but FMA just wasn't that good. Yeah, it had it's touching moments, but it seriously didn't get good 'till the end of the series. Then.. then... *screams* The ending sucked SO much! Aah! I couldn't get to sleep because I was so angry! They went through all that crap and they didn't even get to be together in the end!! *screams some more* I started watching the movie, hoping that it would be better, but I only watched a little over 10 minutes then stopped. I'm usually an optimist, but I didn't want to fool myself this time. The only really good thing about FMA are the opening and ending themes. Melissia by Porno Grafitti is my absolute favorite song! *^_^* Seriously, whenever I hear that song, my heart feels like it's trying to leap out of my chest!

But! But! *squeee!* Trigun is soooo awesome! *^_^* The only thing that sucked about this series is that there are only 23 episodes! lol The ending was okay, but it left too many loose ends for me. But, that's what fanfics are for, right? Vash is such an awesome character, as are Wolfwood, Meryl, and Millie. The only thing that I can't understand is why people fawn over Knives and Legato. People! Those two men are heartless killers! Why would you like them?! If background information was provided and there was a reason to their senseless killing, I might be a bit more sympathetic. But as for now, it's a no.

Okay. It's 11:35 and I'm tired, so I'ma gonna go to bed. I'll see some of yo' peeps later!
